Under the Direct Supervision of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing duties related to housekeeping, facility maintenance, building repairs, landscaping, and vehicle maintenance, for Camp Greenville.

YMCA Camp Greenville is looking for cause-driven leaders to fulfill the role of the Camp Greenville Lifeguard. The Camp Greenville Lifeguard communicates and enforces aquatics rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and fun waterfront environment for our campers. This position supports the Waterfront Coordinator and Paddle Sports Coordinator in ensuring all waterfront-based activities are properly managed and protected by providing a quality program that values safety first. This person will continue the trend of making our waterfront one of the premier program spaces at YMCA Camp Greenville.

An Adventure Trip Leader coordinates and leads offsite trips for groups of 15. This person will manage the Adventure cabin leaders assigned to their trip as well as the campers through a weeklong adventure providing a safe and fun environment in which campers can thrive. This person will ensure all manners of their trip are taken care of including interactions with outfitters, gear/food packing, and camp site set up. The Adventure Program is an outdoor wilderness experience that spends time away from our camp property for the majority of each session.

YMCA Camp Greenville is seeking cause-driven leaders to fulfill the roles of our Ropes Program Team. An individual in this role will serve as a program leader of our climbing, high ropes, and zipline programming. They will serve on a team with others who will all be trained to properly facilitate and care for all ropes-based programs and the gear required to run the activities. They will guide our campers through a safe, fun, & challenging experience while maintaining ownership and safety during all ropes activities.

This individual will coordinate the logistical and programmatic needs for our campout program. They will ensure the safety of all our campout sites, that all materials needed for camping out are delivered, and that adventure trips are packed properly. Under the support of the Adventure Division Leader, this role has the goal of creating a safe, fun, magical, and educational experience during our campout/adventure activities.

YMCA Camp Greenville is looking for cause-driven leaders who will fulfill the roles of our Shooting Sports Specialists Team. An individual on this team will serve as a program leader for any of camp’s shooting sports activities including riflery, archery, and other target sports. The main goal for this role will be to maintain an, above all, safe and fun environment for all participants while teaching proper safety techniques of shooting sports. This team will also take care of all program supplies and areas through training and teaching.

The Senior LDP supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. This position will serve in the role of an assistant cabin leader. This role provides guidance and supervision to a cabin group of campers ranging in age from 7-14 for our traditional and adventure camp sessions. The Senior LDP leads alongside their cabin leader by demonstrating a mastery of schedule logistics, understanding the needs of their campers, and maintaining the physical and emotional safety of their group. This role can serve from 2-4 sessions of summer camp. The goal is to give our campers a safe, fun, magical, and educational experience that they’ll never forget.
